About Me

Hi! My name is Steph and I am the creator and face behind all things warriormakeup. I have a passion for makeup but I’m not your typical makeup guru. Looking at me one might assume that I am super feminine but the truth is that I often rock a smoky eye to rugby practice. I really wanted to put myself out there to show these younger girls that you really can do whatever you want. I know that when I was in high school I was stereotyped and placed into a clique the second I stepped through the door. Cliques cause many problems but one of the main issues I find is that these groups only allow its victims to represent themselves in one way, one light. We are comprised of so many different and wonderful things that it’s sad that we can still fill pressured to fulfill these societal roles. I believe in doing not only what makes you happy but also challenging these roles. What I have learned over the years is that it takes an equally good friend to drive you to the hospital with a fractured collarbone as it does to tell you there’s lipstick on your teeth.  

I am in no way a professional but I truly enjoy playing with makeup and enjoy passing along some of the knowledge that I have acquired over the years to anyone who is interested in learning.
