This is the BEST mascara combo ever and honestly I discovered it by accident. After hearing so many raving reviews about Covergirl's lashblastvolume mascara I decided to give it a try. I opened it up, took one look at the wand and figured that I probably wouldn't like it...and I didn't. I felt that it gave a stubby appearance to my lashes and was really disappointed. I decided not to remove this mascara and just quickly apply a coat of one of my all time favorite mascaras over top. The results were amazing! I have never had lashes that were so long and thick! This has now become a holy grail mascara trick of mine. So here's what you need to do to achieve amazing looking lashes:
1) Curl your lashes
2) On a piece of paper tap off any excess mascara at the tip of your Covergirl lashblastvolume mascara wand (the one I use is the waterproof version)
3) Before your lashes have time to dry use the same steps to apply Make Up For Ever's Smoky Lash mascara.
4)Vwala! You are a sexy goddess with lashes to die for!
If you notice any clumping you can go back with a spulie or an eyebrow comb to comb out any clumping. I know that Make Up For Ever's Smoky Lash mascara is on the expensive side ($22 to be exact) but I absolutly love it and recomend it for anyone who is looking for a mascara that will bring the drama. The formula leans more on the dry side and the wand is crazy looking but does an amazing job of distributing the product. Unfortunatly I have not come across any other mascaras (drugstore or highend) that I would consider a dupe for the Smoky Lash mascara. Don't fear though because if you do purchase this mascara it will be bigger than the one I have pictured (mine is a mini size that I got in a set of 12 mini mascaras). I hope you found this helpful and have a wonderful day!
The Make Up For Ever wand...and yes I am aware that the texture of my hands mimics that of a reptile.
