Just like traditional contouring this look will provide some depth to your face in addition to thinning it out. I prefer this method of contouring in the spring and summer because it gives a beautiful sun kissed look. You will need all the same supplies as you needed for traditional contouring (see “Traditional Contouring--Step Two of Four to a Flawless Face” for a supply list). Let’s get started…
Places to Contour:
Under Cheek bones
-You want to apply your bronzer (using the angled brush) just under your cheek bones. If you’re having trouble finding the correct spot it’s typically from the top of your ear to the corner of your mouth but everyone has a different bone structure so you can always make that fishy face to double check.
Temples and Forehead
-Start the bronzer on your temple and drag upwards toward the center of your forehead and repeat on the opposite side. Keep the bronzer on your forehead thinner then than on your temples
Sides of Face
-Apply a thin swipe of bronzer down the sides of your face.
Apples of Your Cheeks to the Sides of Your Nose
-Apply the bronzer from just outside the apples of your cheeks and up the sides of your nose.
Chin
-Place a small amount of bronzer on the center of your chin.
After you have completed these steps go back with the kabuki brush and blend those lines out. You are now ready to apply your blush.
